Prominently displayed in the right column at Watts Up is a countdown to the equinox. What’s the point? To mock Dr. Mark Serreze’s comment from 2007 that almost all the Arctic ice could be gone by end of summer 2012. Well, it turns out that was sort of a lucky guess, on Serreze’s part, true. And to Watts’s credit, he’s still got the thing up on the right column, though perhaps he’s taking this “end of summer” thing a bit too literally.
But it sure doesn’t seem quite so snarky-funny at this point, does it?
