Pipeline Failure Incidents are Not Rare

With the increased attention to rail accidents, some are arguing that this improves the case for pipelines. But pipelines have not got a great safety record either.

Via the Center for Biological Diversity, Dr. Richard Stover offers an analysis of pipeline accidents in the US.

Unsurprisingly given the intensity of extraction and refining here, Texas has the largest number of incidents by a wide margin.
